Dance All Night…Sleep All Day…but with red shoes

We assume that every woman should have a pair of red emergency shoes in the closet, that safe harbor to cling in moments of need, something that revives an anonymous black dress, something that gives a touch of elegance to her jeans .
Do not forget then that it is the red heel the symbol of female emancipation, is that a coincidence?
Because the red heel knows of independence, of power, in China it is even the color of happiness, and why not, it also knows of femme fatale.
And then fatal women, do not be intimidated by the fire. Dare.

Shoes and chocolate

I would not to sin of immodesty saying that the only thing in the world pushing women to commit craziness, are shoes and chocolate.  Never mind the small “coup de folie” that we allow ourselves to capture the attention of a man. I’m talking about real ordinary madness.

Cause do you want to tell me that have you ever pass (by pure chance) for days and days in front of a shop window and there, those shoes look at you. And finally, on the third day, okay there’s the rent and bills, but a pair of shoes never bankrupted no one!   In the evening, in your feet, they are prettier than ever.

Then suppose you have spent hundreds of euros to the dietician that month. You go to the supermarket with your depressing shopping list, and there’s him. He’s cocky, with that gaudy packaging. Don’t give a damn that is just that Monday of January where you had really decided to start that famous diet once for all.

And eventually, that violet gives just a touch of color in your cart, with those sad rice cakes and those cookies sugar free. And then you look at that chocolate scrolling on the treadmill, you lower your eyes at your feet, and you just smile!

Parisien style!

Is it really necessary to be born in the French capital for a Parisian style?

Well, the answer is no. Our Ines teaches us that in fashion we must dare, we have to take some risk, you should never undergo fashion. Whether women or nearly so, whether born in Paris or anywhere in the world. So why not matching classic shoes with a simple white t-shirt, a pair of jeans and maybe a vintage jacket to go for a coffee with a friend? Or why not, matching these same shoes  with a little black dress for the evening (Coco Chanel suggested to have always a black dress ready  in the closet).
And then voilà! With just one pair of shoes, you made fashion. That day, in the morning at a bar with a croissant in an hand, and in the evening at a party with a glass of champagne, you’re stylish, of course. But you have been especially comfortable, at ease and this should never be underestimated. In fact, someone said “elegance is not perhaps completely forgetting what one is wearing?”
